In addition to Block A, a number of blocks that the discussion of its extension is almost complete block area of South Sumatra, Central Sumatra, Java Sea Bawean Block and Block Madura Strait.

As we know, as much as 6 contractor cooperation contracts (PSC) has proposed a contract extension that is Gull Resourches Canada to Block Bawean Java Sea, JOA Pertamina-Kodeco to Block Offshore West Madura, PT Medco E & P Malaka to Block A of Nanggroe Aceh Darussalam, Husky Oil ( Madura) Ltd. for Block Madura Strait, PT Medco E & P Indonesia for South Sumatra, Central Sumatra Block Area and Total E & P Indonesia for the Mahakam block.

Ilyas Saad added, in discussing the extension of contract oil and gas cooperation from the producing region, the government held talks with various parties, especially the PT Pertamina. This is consistent with the policy of legislation which should be increased involvement of national companies.
