JAKARTA: PT Pertamina (Persero) reduce the price of fuel oil (BBM), non-subsidy consisting of Pertamax, Pertamax Plus and Bio Pertamax from 1 September 2010 average of Rp125-Rp200 per liter compared with the price August 15, 2010 for some areas in Indonesia.

Pertamina vice president of corporate communications Mochammad Aaron reveal changes in prices are adjusted with MOPS prices and the rupiah against the U.S. dollar compared with the previous period.

"These new prices came into effect as of 1 September 2010 at 00:00 am," he said, today.

With the new price, says Aaron, most non-subsidized fuel prices by Pertamina, which consisted of Pertamax, Pertamax Plus, Bio Pertamax indeed been reduced, especially in Jakarta and several cities in Indonesia.

He said the non-subsidized fuel prices in most of Pertamina's marketing unit has not changed. (Hl)
