SURABAYA: PT Pertamina Retail Fuel Marketing Region V East Java, Bali and Nusatengara Lebaran in preparation for going home in 2010, has been set up at least 10 units of fuel filling station general (gas station) with a car equipped with fuel tank that serves as a buffer stock.

Pertamina's General Manager of Retail Fuel Marketing Region V East Java, Bali and Nusatengara, Mohammad Iskandar explained his side has prepared a number of steps to meet the fuel needs for Idul Fitri travelers.

"By nature of fuel demand as Lebaran start of H-10 to H +10 on average increased 15%. Especially for the H-3 to H-1 could increase 40%. Management in East Java has been set up 10 retail outlets as a buffer stock to support the tank car that is ready 24 hours, "said Iskandar told reporters today.

He explained that the location of 10 stations located in Probolinggo, Lumajang, Kediri, Jember, Bondowoso, Situbondo, Blitar, Bojonegoro and two units at a separate location Lamongan to point north and south.

Iskandar stressed that increased fuel demand was mostly on the type of premium including pertamax. While the types of diesel fuel demand tends to decrease during Lebaran.

"Only premium and the cederung pertamax increased needs, while most of the goods vehicle fleet of diesel can not operate during the process of going home [H-10 to H +10] so that their needs tended to decrease," he said.

Until now, he continued, the number of retail outlets located in its territory (East Java, Bali and NUSRA) in total 1030 units divided in as many as 812 units of gas station in East Java, in Bali, 167 units at retail outlets and petrol stations NUSRA 51 units. "The level of oil consumption in East Java, Bali and NUSRA reach 12 311
kiloliters per day for a premium, while for diesel reached 5978 kiloliters per day.

Especially for the needs on weekdays pertamax reached 180 tons during Lebaran but rose to 220-240 tons, "
