PLN signed JAKARTA.PT cash pooling cooperation with the eleven banks. The signing of this cooperation is the follow up of previous cooperation in the form of online payment of electricity bills by using the system of centralized P2APST (Management and Control of Revenue Flows In Focus) that had been conducted in February 2010.

The signing was done as Finance Director of PT PLN Setio Anggoro Dewo with the heads of the eleven banks located at 6th floor of the Head Office of PT PLN. Their respective leaders signed a joint venture bank was Executive Vice President of Bank Danamon Hery Adriawan Zainal and senior vice president of Bank Danamon Main Indra Nasution.

Then Vice President Director of Bank Artha Graha BN Vishnu Tjandra and Director of Bank Artha Graha Alex Susanto, Director of the Bank UOB Buana Goh Seng Huat and Director of the Bank UOB Buana Safrulah Hadi Saleh, Vice President Director of BCA, BCA Director John Setiaatmdja and Suwignyo Budiman.

Under this agreement, effective June 2010, customers of PT PLN Java-Bali area has been able to make payment of electricity bills by 43 banks in cooperation with PLN and the Post Office. Synergy PT PLN with eleven banks were based on the utilization of cash management technology that has been executed by each bank that has been working with PT PLN.

Proceeds of the sale of electricity bills by PT PLN unit will be sweeping the fund every day, so funds can be utilized and optimized by PT PLN Center. Cash pooling model is one form of income security programs (revenue protection), whereby through this cooperation PLN Head Office can monitor bank accounts in each unit, PT PLN in Indonesia through the Cash Management Bank.

In this cooperation the Bank has provided security guarantees for its cash management system, so transaski through cash management can be carried out smoothly and safely. Bank cash management services facilities can also be used by PT PLN Unit monitors the daily transactions in bank accounts in realtime, so that each unit of PLN can find out how much funding had been received from customers in real time as well.
