Jakarta - Distribute natural gas by Perusahaan Gas Negara (PGN) has increased by nine percent (827 MMSCFD) compared to the daily distribution volume in the period of the year 2009, Jakarta.

"Support in the form of increased allocations for PGN's gas supply will greatly assist efforts in fulfilling the needs of natural gas in the country," said Director of PGN, Hendi Prio Santoso, in his press statement received by ANTARA here on Thursday.

This increase comes from higher volume, particularly in the field of transmission Grissik-Duri, said Hendi.

"Along with the increase of Indonesia's economic activities, we have set up distribution networks and transmission capacity with a length of more than 5800km to distribute natural gas to all customer segments in the country," said Director of PGN.
