According to him, the request is granted because it is difficult hampered several factors, such as the government had to find back the source of kerosene, the subsidy will swell, and the existing infrastructure will not be used again.
"What is clear, that [rekonversi] is a very serious problem. Existing infrastructure would dikemanakan again? "He said on the sidelines of the International Symposium on Mesozoic-Paleozoic Petroleum basins in Indonesia in Bandung today.

He said petroleum residue is far more dirty than the LPG so that is not efficient. In addition, the energy content of kerosene is lower than that contained in the LPG. "From the health side, unhealthy kerosene compared to LPG," he continued.
According to Evita, the government needs to be improved in order to realize a gas explosion incident does not happen again.

He submitted there are two solutions from the government to prevent a gas explosion back, namely socialization and supervision. Government and relevant parties are now intensively to disseminate how to use the tube properly. "We also keep an eye on conditions on the ground when things happen outside the rules," he said.
