Jambi - State-owned oil and gas
firm Pertamina for Jambi is expected to increase the stocks of its fuel
oils in the face of the Islamic fasting of Ramadhan and the post-fasting
festivity this year, a legislator said.
"The need for fuel oils such as premium gasoline and diesel oil will
increase during the the Ramadhan fasting month and the Idul Fitri
festivity. Therefore, we ask Pertamina to increase its stocks," Junedi
Singarimbun, a member of the Regional Legislative Assembly (DPRD) said.
During the fasting month and the Idul Fitri, transportation activities for goods and services will increase.
With the increase in fuel oil stocks it is expected that the
transportation of goods and services for the economic need would be
smooth. The transportation of Idul Fitri travelers is also expected to
run smoothly, if the fuel oil stocks are enough, Junaedi said.(Antara)
