JAKARTA. Based on the results of inter-agency coordination meetings related to the use of LPG products 3 Kg and 12 Kg, the Government will form a National Coordination Team for Supervision and Community Development in the Implementation of use of LPG by the coordinator of the Coordinating Ministry for People's Welfare Office, Monday (31 / 5).

"National team assigned to conduct supervision and guidance to the community to improve and grow kesadaraan (awareness) to the use of LPG gas," said Director General of Oil and Gas.

National Team members, among others, the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, Ministry of Industry, Ministry of Commerce, Ministry of Manpower and Transmigration, Ministry for People's Welfare and National Standardization Agency.

Team building is a form of government concern for public safety in using LPG as well as the sustainability of the program Kerosene to LPG Conversion 3 Kg. In addition to forming a team, the government plans to reduce accidents will add sensors (detector) gas leaks.

Program Kerosene to LPG Conversion 3 Kg is a program initiated by the Government since 2007. The program was implemented in order to reduce petroleum consumption and reduce domestic sector subsidies.

Until now packs have been distributed to households and micro business users of kerosene of approximately 44 million package consisting of 3 kg of LPG steel cylinders, a fuel gas burner stove with a lighter mechanical systems and accessories (hose, regulator and valves) and content of 3 kg of LPG prime. The target of this transfer program is to achieve reduced use of kerosene at 9.9 million kiloliters through the distribution of LPG amounted to 5.7 million tons by the year 2012. [esdm]
