- The rupiah against the U.S. dollar in the Jakarta interbank spot
market, more and slumped Thursday afternoon away from Rp9.250 level,
because of the negative factors from internal and external markets.
The rupiah exchange rate against the dollar slumped 185 points to Rp9.265-Rp9.275 per dollar as compared to the previous day's closing-Rp9.090 Rp9.080.
