JAKARTA, exchange rate of rupiah against the U.S. dollar in the spot interbank market on Wednesday (7/4/2010) evening, tend to be stable because market participants reduce their activities. However, the position is still below the rate of rupiah to Rp 9,050 per U.S. dollar.
The value of the rupiah against the U.S. dollar strengthened thin four points to USD 9046-USD 9056 per U.S. dollar compared to the previous day's close of USD 9050-USD 9060.

Currency analysts PT Bank Brothers Tbk, Rully Nova, Wednesday in Jakarta, said that market activity tends to decrease late in the afternoon. This can be seen from the loosening action of buying on the rupiah. "Foreign actors to reduce the purchase of the rupiah compared to the previous session so that the Indonesian currency has increased thin," he said.

Even kenaikannnya reduced, the chance of rupiah to get to number of Rp 9000 per U.S. dollar is still quite large thinks.

Rully Nova said the rupiah is expected to rebound until the approaching figure of Rp 9000 per U.S. dollar despite an increase of current decreases. "This happens because the local market players, especially exporters, expect BI to observe the movement of the rupiah continues to strengthen," he said.

Rupiah thinks will succeed in achieving this rate per U.S. dollar in the near future, even through those levels because the action of buying foreign players to the stronger rupiah. "Principals foreigners buying dollars and U.S. dollars for the play off in the stock market, which pushed the stock price index (CSPI) rose to nearly 3,000 points," he said.

In addition, Indonesia in the near future he thinks will achieve investment rating (investment grade) which will trigger the rupiah continues to rise. "We are optimistic, the rupiah will greatly benefit from the expected increase in ratings to investment grade," he said. | Kompas.com | tenderoffer.biz |
