Padang - Dean of Faculty of Economics, University of Padang (UNP), Prof.Dr. Syamsul Amar, MS, states that government measures to stop Direct Cash Aid (BLT) in 2010, is a contradictory policy in the economy.
  "There are two counter-productive policy of the government in 2010. First stop the BLT, and the second will raise the basic electricity tariff (TDL)," said Syamsul in Padang, Saturday.

BLT, he says, is the government subsidies given to a particular community, in order to be able to meet the minimum requirements. Beneficiaries are the people that the low welfare level.
