New York - U.S. stocks to record a moderate increase in choppy trading Wednesday, as investors consider the economic data better than expected and the minutes of the Federal Reserve last meeting.
Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 40.43 points (0.30 percent) to 10,309.24, a day after a record triple-digit gains.

The technology-heavy Nasdaq composite index added 12.10 points (0.55 percent) to 2226.29 and the broad market index Standard & Poor `s 500 rose 4.63 points (0.42 percent) to 1099.50.

Lasted volatile trade after Wall Street stocks ended Tuesday in an increase in one of their best day in three months amid optimism the new economy that encourages the Dow rose 1.68 percent.

"Big picture remains bullish," said Al Goldman, chief markets strategist at Wells Fargo Advisors.

"Yesterday it was impressive, but we doubt there are enough buyers anxious to keep moving. We believe the more likely scenario is the highest for the rally in a day or two and then more selling," he added. | antaranews.com | tenderoffer.biz |
