Moscow
- Production (output) of industry in Russia increased 7.8 percent in
January from the same month a year earlier, the statistics office said
Monday, the latest exciting news for the economy hit hard by the crisis.
However, production fell a steep 20.4 percent in January from December, fell explained by the number of holidays in January.
Industrial
production fell 10.8 percent for 2009 as a whole because Russia hit
hard by the economic crisis and only began to recover in year-to-year
