Makassar - About 40 percent of some 3,000 shops telecommunications entrepreneur (Wartel) recorded in PT Telkom Kandatel Makassar has moved the business into the Internet cafe services (Warnet).

"Along with the development of mobile, Wartel society is becoming obsolete, because it is now more entrepreneurs are turning to service Warnet much demand now," said General Manager PT Telkom Kandatel Makassar, Andi Muflihuddin in Makassar, Saturday.

According to him, currently there are approximately 1400 Warnet entrepreneurs who partnered with PT Telkom Kandatel Makassar.

Of this amount, as much as 60 percent of whom are new entrepreneurs who attempt to cultivate it, but the rest of 40 percent is a former businessman Wartel.

The number is predicted to continue to grow, whether that is a switch Wartel businessman or business which is registered as a new entrepreneur in the field of Warnet.
