Jakarta - PT PLN (Persero) planned construction of two main guardhouse extra high voltage (GITET) in Jakarta as an effort to secure power supply in the state capital.

General Manager Distribution PLN Jakarta Raya and Tangerang, Purnomo Willy, in Jakarta Thursday said the two are located in GITET Plumpang, North Jakarta and Duri Kosambi, West Jakarta.

"The capacity of each bus shelter 2x500 megavolt ampere (MVA) or 2x400 MW," he said.

According to him, his side have prepared land in Duri Kosambi sentry covering 6.5 hectares, but have not received land Plumpang.

He said the proposed bus shelter construction began in 2012, so that the construction period for 18 months, it is scheduled to be operational in 2014.

Purnomo said that the bus shelter funding into the network security investments in Jakarta and Tangerang Rp9 trillion worth.
