Page 1 of 2 CCOP Annual Session held in their actions & Steering Committee Meeting held once a year to review the development activities implemented by each member state which consists of Cambodia, China, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Papua New Guinea, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam and Timor Leste in order to prepare a work plan the following year. Activities, which was attended by about 100 participants this is also a meeting place for the CCOP member countries and other countries that cooperate and become donors CCOP include Britain, Norway, Belgium, Canada, Finland, France, Germany, Japan, Poland, Australia , Russian, Swedish, Dutch, Danish and American. This activity is expected to be a means to discuss various issues surrounding the various aspects of earth science and scientific and research as input for future programs CCOP. In Indonesia this year through the Geological Agency, Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources had the opportunity to host the 47th Annual Session & 56th Steering Committee Meeting to be held in Synthesis Peninsula Hotel Manado, North Sulawesi on 17 until 23 October 2010. Annual activity session (annual meeting) CCOP on this occasion is reported in the field of terrestrial activities of each member State and discuss the good cooperation already underway or to be held between member countries and donor countries. One of the activities at the Thematic Session of this meeting that this time the theme "Understanding the climatic Change in Order to Enhance Geoscientific Contribution to Society and Its Environments. This theme was appointed to explore further on global climate change that occurred in various parts of the world in the hope that these studies can be particularly beneficial for member countries of CCOP. The emphasis of the meeting on this occasion was the discussion and presentations featuring some of the results of research conducted by experts from various countries, focusing on research on improving the ability of the efforts of adaptation to the impacts of change and increase efforts to mitigate carbon emissions reduction. The last activity in a series of CCOP is a "Steering Committee Meeting" which is the CCOP Steering Committee meeting with the main agenda of coordination on planning CCOP member countries related field of earth science that involves global issues particularly climate change (including the causes and consequences), so with the CCOP activities to determine the agenda next activity both in substance, management and organization.
