The Government today announced the winners of bidding results and Gas Work Area Phase II in 2009:
- Auction Direct Offering Oil and Gas Working Area Phase II Year 2009, a total of 12 (eleven) of the company for 11 (eleven) working area of 11 (eleven) working area has to offer.
- Phase II Year 2009 auction of 3 (three) companies for 3 (three) working area of the total 12 (twelve) working area has to offer.
These companies are considered to have met the criteria for winning the Auction / Tender Offer Live Working Area Oil and Gas. The assessment criteria used in reference to the decision of the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources No. 35 of 2008 and Nomor36 Year 2008.

Exploration firm commitment from the 14 (fourteen), the new contractor for 3 (three) year exploration period of geological and geophysical studies for U.S. $ 13.15 million, 2D seismic survey along the 9350 km of U.S. $ 15.45 million, the 3D seismic survey an area of 4350 km2 of U.S. $ 28.50 million and as many as eight exploration wells drilling wells with a total investment of U.S. $ 75.5 million, bringing total investment in exploration commitments amounted to U.S. $ 146 million. While the signature bonus (Signature Bonus) to be received directly by the government amounted to U.S. $ 14.65 million.
