Page 1 of 2 BANDUNG. Reports responses of an earthquake in the southeastern Nabire, Papua, based on information obtained from BMKG, Jakarta and the USGS, the United States as follows:1. The earthquake occurred on Sunday, dated July 25, 2010, at 13:41:48 pm. According BMKG earthquake centered in the coordinates o 3.94 LS - 135.96 BT o SR magnitude 5.2 at a depth of 16 km. Earthquake Center located at 82 km southeast of Nabire, Papua. While according to the USGS, earthquake center at coordinates 4.17 ° latitude - longitude 136.01 ° with a magnitude of 4.9 Mw at a depth of 25.5 km 2. Earthquake Area Conditions: Areas closest to the earthquake center were prepared by the Tertiary and Quaternary age rocks. Earthquake-affected areas are upland areas that have been strongly deformed, marked by a fault-fault is raised to the surface rocks of Tertiary age. This fault becomes lithologic boundary between Quaternary age rocks with other rocks of Tertiary age. 3. Earthquake Impact: According to information from BMKG, this earthquake was not felt.
