JAKARTA: Samsung Heavy Industries, Samsung Group, South Korean companies intend to work together with PT Pertamina (Persero) working on development projects and regasification terminals floating storage (FSRT) liquefied natural gas (liquified natural gas / LNG) project in the country.
Director General of Oil and Gas Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources Evita Herawati Legowo disclose the investment plans submitted in the meeting of the 3th Indonesia-Korea Energy Forum that was held in South Korea on 25-26 March 2010.
"Samsung is already present desire to help us build a receiving terminal, both large and small scale. Later with Pertamina," he said yesterday.

According to him, the Samsung Group, the company wishes to invest in LNG receiving terminal project in line with government plans to build more LNG receiving terminals in order fulfillment kabutuhan gas in the country.

South Korean government through oil and gas companies, he said, will participate in the plan penenderan engineering, procurement, and construction of LNG receiving terminal project.
