JAKARTA: PT Pertamina (Persero) mengharapkan rencana penghematan penggunaan bahan bakar minyak (BBM) bersubsidi bisa diterapkan pada tahun ini, mengingat semakin tingginya konsumsi dan menipisnya persediaan BBM bersubsidi.
 
Direktur Pemasaran dan Niaga Pertamina Djaelani Sutomo mengungkapkan stok BBM bersubsidi yang telah dikuotakan pemerintah dalam APBN-P 2010 sebesar 36,5 juta kiloliter (kl) diperkirakan habis sebelum waktunya, apabila rencana penghematan tidak segera diberlakukan.

"Kan masih ada waktu sekitar 4 bulan dari sekarang. Kalau 2 bulan saja bisa dihemat, kan lumayan. Kami berharap [pembatasan] bisa tahun ini,” tuturnya, tadi malam.

Melihat pola konsumsi masyarakat terhadap BBM bersubsidi saat ini, kata Djaelani, jatah BBM jenis premium yang ditetapkan sesuai dengan APBN-P 2010 sebesar 21,45 juta kl diperkirakan habis pada awal Desember. Artinya, akan ada kekurangan pasokan premium sekitar 1,78 juta kl pada tahun ini.

Dia menambahkan BBM bersubsidi jenis solar yang ditetapkan 11,19 juta kl kemungkinan akan habis pada pertengahan November. Pasalnya, konsumsi solar bersubsisi memang terbilang tinggi karena nelayan lebih banyak menggunakannya.

"Kami memperkirakan konsumsi solar bersubsidi sampai akhir tahun ini naik hingga 2 juta kl menjadi 13 juta kl, sementara kuotanya hanya 11 juta kl.”

Mengenai pernyataan Menteri Keuangan Agus Martowardojo yang menegaskan alokasi anggaran subsidi BBM pada tahun ini tidak akan berubah, Djaelani menyerahkan sepenuhnya kepada pemerintah, termasuk pelaksanaan opsi pembatasan penggunaan BBM bersubsidi.

"Pada dasarnya, Pertamina hanya bisa menunggu keputusan pemerintah. Apapun usulan untuk menggunakan duit subsidi itu kan dari pemerintah karena kami hanya menghitung." (hl)

JAKARTA: PT Pertamina (Persero) berencana memperluas penjualan elpiji ukuran 9 kg dan 14 kg di luar Jabodetabek ke sejumlah kota lain, seperti Bandung, Semarang, Surabaya, dan Yogyakarta.

VP Corporate Communications Pertamina Mochamad Harun mengungkapkan penjualan elpiji 9 kg dan 14 kg tersebut merupakan program Ease Gas, yakni gas elpiji yang dipasarkan untuk masyarakat kalangan menengah atas dengan harga pasar dan tidak disubsidi pemerintah.

Menurut dia, Pertamina melalui anak usaha Pertamina Trading telah menjual Ease Gas tersebut di wilayah Jabodetabek sejak awal 2010, dengan rincian elpiji 9 kg dijual seharga Rp78.000 per tabung dan 14 kg seharga Rp110.000 per tabung.

"Untuk tahap awal ini, memang baru di wilayah Jabodetabek saja area penjualannya, tetapi nanti akan dikonsentrasikan juga di kota-kota besar lainnya. Sasarannya memang masyarakat menengah atas yang semestinya tidak layak disubsidi terus,” ujarnya hari ini.

Sejak awal 2010 sampai Juli ini, ujar Harun,  Pertamina telah menjual 1.200 tabung untuk  elpiji 9 kg (10.800 kg) dan 4.275 tabung untuk elpiji 14 kg (59.850 kg). Dengan peluncuran Ease Gas tersebut, lanjutnya, Pertamina berharap masyarakat kalangan menengah atas tidak lagi menggunakan elpiji 12 kg yang subsidinya sebesar Rp3,2 triliun per tahun masih ditanggung oleh BUMN migas tersebut.

 “Kita coba saving untuk kalangan menengah ke atas dengan diberikan kemudahan dan Pertamina jemput bola dengan layanan dan tabung lebih baik, tetapi harganya tidak disubsidi. Kalau punya elpiji 12 kg, tinggal diganti saja dan tidak usah membeli tabung lagi.”

 Harun menilai kedua jenis elpiji Ease Gas tersebut lebih aman karena tabungnya yang didisain khusus dengan dua katup, atas-bawah. Selain itu, dia menambahkan kedua produk tersebut tidak dijual bebas di pasaran karena Pertamina menyiapkan fasilitas antar jemput untuk pemesanan ataupun pengisian kedua jenis tabung tersebut.(bas)
